<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct liquid type writing implement allowing setting of fiber density of an ink occluding body in the vicinity of the front end of each communication tube surely higher than the density of the ink occluding body at a part other than the vicinity of the front end of each communication tube. <P>SOLUTION: The direct liquid type writing implement 1 comprises a penpoint 2, the ink occluding body 3 connected to the rear end of the penpoint 2, an ink tank 8 disposed in the rear of the ink occluding body 3 and storing the ink 9 directly, and a plurality of the communication tubes 6 connecting the ink tank 8 with the ink occluding body 3. The front end of each communication tube 6 is inserted from the rear end of the ink occluding body 3 forward to pressurizingly compress the inside of the ink occluding body 3. Each front end of the communication tubes 6 is positioned inside the ink occluding body 3. The ink occluding body 3 comprises a fiber bundle, and an outer skin 31 covering the outer periphery of the fiber bundle and consisting of a cylindrical extrusion mold of a synthetic resin.
