<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a large torque, and to stabilize the torque. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic motor is provided with a rectangular piezoelectric oscillator having a piezoelectric element; a movable body performing relative motion to the piezoelectric oscillator through the oscillation of the piezoelectric oscillator; a guide member, which is arranged in the periphery of the piezoelectric oscillator, slides in contact with the piezoelectric oscillator and guides the piezoelectric oscillator to be movable toward the movable body; and a pressurizing member applying a pressurizing force to the piezoelectric oscillator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
