<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of smoothly starting an engine when a travel state by an electric motor is switched to a travel state by the engine for a power transmission device for hybrid vehicle having the engine and electric motor as a power source for traveling. <P>SOLUTION: When an engine rotation speed N<SB>E</SB>is increased under gear change of an automatic change gear part 20 so as to start the engine 8, first electric motor torque T<SB>M1</SB>and second electric motor torque T<SB>M2</SB>are made larger than under un-changing gears of the automatic change gear part 20, so even if a second electric motor rotation speed N<SB>M2</SB>which is an input rotation speed of the automatic change gear part 20 varies owing to gear change operation of the automatic change gear part 20, the engine 8 can be accurately started by speedily increasing the engine rotation speed N<SB>E</SB>and an influence of rotation resistance of the engine 8 during the increase on the gear change operation of the automatic change gear part 20 is reducible. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
