<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing banding in an output image. <P>SOLUTION: A bracket 64 having a U-shaped cross section and fixed to a frame member is disposed at the longitudinal center part of an LPH 20 so as to surround a support member 38. Leaf springs 60 and 62 to energize the side parts 38B of the support member 38 are disposed on the erected plates 64A of the bracket 64. By energizing the side parts 38B of the LPH 20 by the leaf springs 60 and 62 from both sides of the LPH 20 in such the manner, a distance between support points is reduced, and the natural frequency of the LPH 20 is made higher. Besides, even when the LPH 20 is vibrated with the vibration of a motor for driving each part or the like, the amplitude of the LPH 20 is reduced, consequently, the banding in the output image is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
