<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus that can reduce burden in setting a form kind for a printer without losing a desired result as a product of the printer. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus, which is equipped with a means for selecting a paper-feed tray, includes: a means for prompting to input a print job from a host device before setting a form in the paper-feed tray of the printing apparatus if paper-feed tray selection is for a manual-bypass tray; and a form kind setting means for setting, to the printer, a form kind set for the print job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
