摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that the isoelectric point electrophoresis operation requires a long time and it is difficult to apply high molecular weight protein in the conventional two-dimensional electrophoretic system, and to build a two-dimensional electrophoretic system with easy handling and with little loss of a sample and with little failure as a substitute for the conventional two-dimensional electrophoretic system which requires technical skill. <P>SOLUTION: A reduction in concentration of gel, reduction in migration time, and application to high molecular weight protein can be realized by using a mesh tube or a mesh tubular molded and processed article as the support of gel, in isoelectric point electrophoresis operation. Also, the mesh tube and the mesh tubular molded and processed article enables prevention of the gel's disintegration caused from the reduction in concentration of gel and easy handling. Cylindrical gel is formed to be a shape packed from the outside by using the mesh tube or the mesh tubular molded and processed article, enabling ensuring a high repeatability without inhibiting movement of protein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
