PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle, preventing acceleration of the vehicle during slope ascent to avoid impartment of an incongruity sense to a driver, for example, even if constant-speed travel control using driving force and braking force ends without depending on acceleration operation. SOLUTION: This electronic control device 50 reduces the vehicle driving force to force (0) according to an acceleration operation amount at a specific control end time point on and after the time point (the specific control end time point) when the constant-speed travel control ends without depending on the acceleration operation and braking operation by operation or the like of a control switch 46A. The electronic control device controls brake oil pressure by use of an oil pressure circuit 33 such that a value of vehicle propulsive force that is force having a positive (negative in the case of the opposite direction) value in the case of the same direction as the driving force, having a value obtained by subtracting magnitude of the braking force from magnitude of the driving force as magnitude becomes not more than a value of the vehicle propulsive force at the specific control end time point to change the vehicle braking force to the force (0) according to the braking operation amount at the specific control end time point.
