<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of recognizing a position of a moving body in an installation space, and efficiently performing sterilization of the installation space by controlling a sterilizing component releasing region on the basis of the positional information. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a moving body detecting means 30 for detecting whether the moving body exists in the installation space or not, and detecting the positional information when the moving body exists, a releasing means 40 for releasing a sterilizing component harmful to a human body when it is irradiated for a long time, toward the installation space, a releasing direction changing means 50 for changing the releasing direction of the sterilizing component, and a control means 70 for controlling the releasing direction of the releasing direction changing means 50. The control means 70 checks a result of the detection by the moving body detecting means 30 when a sterilizing operation is instructed by a remote controller 60, and controls the releasing direction changing means 50 to allow the releasing means 40 to release the sterilizing component to the installation space while avoiding an existence place of the moving body on the basis of the positional information of the moving body, when the moving body exists in the installation space. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
