PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve noiselessness by restraining generation of nose by improving traveling stability by maintaining high drainability, in a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: A main groove 21 and a second groove 22 extending in the tire peripheral direction are arranged on both sides of an equatorial line O1 in a tread surface 12. A first lug groove 25 having one end part 25a communicating with the second main groove 22 positioned on the outermost side in the tire width direction, having the other end part 25b not communicating with the tire grounding end 13 and extending in the tire width direction, and a second lug groove 26 having one end part 26a not communicating with the second main groove 22, having the other end part 26b communicating with the tire grounding end 13 and extending in the tire width direction, are alternately arranged in a plurality in the tire peripheral direction.
