PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face image processor capable of accurately recognizing the face of a person by reducing erroneous judgement. SOLUTION: Image processing is performed on the basis of acquired video signals, and the face of a driver D is recognized with the face that at least two face part lines among the face part line A connecting both eyes, the face part line B connecting both nostrils and the face part line C connecting both ends in the longitudinal direction of a mouth are in parallel as one of conditions and further with the face that the inclination angleθ<SB>y</SB>of the face part line and the inclination angleθ<SB>x</SB>of the face match as a condition. In such a manner, by narrowing the conditions when recognizing the face using structural features of the face and narrowing the conditions using the fact that the inclination angle of the part line of the face and the inclination angle of the face match further, the erroneous judgements (selection of eyebrows or mustache or the like) are reduced without increasing operation loads.
