PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joystick whose operation is regulated by simple control. SOLUTION: The joystick 10 comprises a lever 16 operable in two perpendicular directions. First shaft parts 12a and 12b rotate with the operation of the lever 16 in a first direction, and second shaft parts 13a and 13b rotate with the operation of the lever 16 in the second direction. Regulation mechanisms 20 and 21 for regulating the operation of the lever 16 are provided on the first shaft part 12a, 12b and second shaft part 13a, 13b. The regulation mechanisms 20 and 21 each comprise an engagement member rotatable integrally with the first shaft part 12a, 12b or second shaft part 13a, 13b and having an engagement portion, a lock bar adapted to engage with the engagement portion, and a solenoid for displacing the lock bar. When regulating the operation of the lever 16, the regulation mechanisms 20 and 21 engage the lock bar with the engagement portion of the engagement member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
