PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin discrimination device for properly discriminating coins. SOLUTION: This coin discrimination device is provided with a coin passage through which a coin passes and a coin discrimination coil section arranged along the coin passage and for discriminating the coin, wherein a conductive member whose terminal ends are electrically connected and which has inductance components, or a substrate on which the conductive member is formed is arranged, wherein the conductive member or the substrate are arranged between the coin discrimination coil and the metal section at the opposite side of the coin passage side of the coin discrimination coil section.
