PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute restoration of setting information in each of a plurality of PLCs connected to each other through a field network by easy operation without using a tool device, without imposing an excessive software load on a specific controlling device. SOLUTION: By sequentially reading frame configuration data stored in the PLC as a sending station in each receiving station in response to reception of a prescribed starting instruction, creating a restoration request frame, and sending it onto the field network, contents of a setting information storage means of each of the PLCs as the receiving station can be restored by remote control without operating the tool device by only providing the prescribed starting instruction to the PLC as the sending station.
