PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which can be set even in a narrow place by miniaturizing the device configuration, perform image display in a realistic manner without needing to make the circumference dark or giving any physical burden to an image viewer, and be compactly stored in no use to facilitate the carrying and storage thereof. SOLUTION: The device comprises a convex screen 1, a projector 2 for imaging a real image of a display image on the convex screen 1, a concave mirror 3 for forming a virtual image of the real image of the display image imaged on the convex screen 1, and a dimming member 4 for shielding or dimming external light incident on the convex screen 1.
