PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion joint which is lightweight even if it is jumboized. SOLUTION: In the expansion joint 1, wherein a gap 13 between skeletons is covered with a cover material 2, the cover material 2 is composed of an almost rectangular-shaped honeycomb core 3 and a frame material 4 provided on a peripheral edge thereof. Accordingly, by forming the cover material 2 with the honeycomb core 3, the expansion joint 1 can be lightweight even if it is jumboized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
