PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable especially a beginner or an aged person to execute proper inter-vehicle distance control by allowing the inter-vehicle distance control with the driving history or the age of a driver taken into account. SOLUTION: This inter-vehicle distance control device allowing follow to a forward vehicle and traveling such that an inter-vehicle distance between the forward vehicle and one's own vehicle becomes a prescribed target inter-vehicle distance has: a driving history acquisition means 18 acquiring information related to the driving history of the driver; and a correction means 30 correcting a parameter related to the inter-vehicle distance control based on the information obtained in the driving history acquisition means 18.
