PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is easily handled for understanding a state of a patella objectively and quantitatively. SOLUTION: The patella measuring device 100 comprises a holding arm body 110 applied to the side of a knee for positioning the device and a measuring arm body 120 for sliding sideways by pressing the patella, and both of them are rotatably joined at their end parts. The patella measuring device 100 is equipped with a potentiometer 130 for detecting the rotating angle and a load cell 121 embedded in a part which is found at the other end part of the measuring arm body 120 to abut on the patella. The holding arm body 110 has a rotating center C which is a joining part with the measuring arm body 120 and is located above the patella and is configured to float above to prevent the a part from the rotating center to the neighborhood of the other end part from making contact with a leg of a person to be measured, and a tongue piece 111 with a curvature to abut on an external hamstring tendon is formed on the other end part.
