PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radiographic equipment capable of easily changing the location of fluoroscopy/radiography to a prescribed position without irradiating a subject with radiation, and a method of controlling the radiographic equipment. SOLUTION: The radiographic equipment comprises a bed 11 to support the subject P, an X-ray tube 12, an X-ray detector 13, a relative position detecting part 15 to detect the relative position of the bed 11 and the X-ray detector 13, a CPU 21, a RAM 22, a ROM 23 and an X-ray/driving mechanism control part 30, etc. The CPU 21 controls the processing operation of the radiographic X-ray equipment 10 according to a program stored in the ROM 23. A program to change the relative position/display position stored in the ROM 23 and data necessary for executing the program are loaded into the RAM 22 by the CPU 21, and the process of easily changing the fluoroscopic/radiographic position to a desired position is executed according to the relative position/display position changing program without irradiating the subject with radiation.
