PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by reducing pushing and pressing force or impact force applied to the top plate from above to below. SOLUTION: A top plate unit has a top plate 13 of glass on which a cooking container can be mounted, a frame body 173 around which the periphery of the bottom face of the top plate 13 is fitted via a cushioning material 172, and a case body 174 around whose periphery a side wall is formed for forming an open space which keeps a coil unit for induction-heating the cooking container by a magnetic field arranged and supports the frame body 173 in the top portion of the side wall.
