PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas combustion type driving tool which expands the pipe line area of a gas pipe for combustion gas without upsizing the tool. SOLUTION: The gas combustion type driving tool is provided with a feed piston-cylinder mechanism 6 which reciprocatively moves the feed piston 8 engageable with/disengageable from a connection fastener stored in a magazine 2, in a nail feeding direction that advances the feed piston toward a nose 5 and the opposite receding direction. The driving tool constantly energizes the feed piston 8 in the feeding direction by a spring, and supplies part of the combustion gas to the feed cylinder 7 via a gas pipe line 21 arranged between a combustion chamber 4 and the feed piston-cylinder mechanism 6, for operating the feed piston 8 in the receding direction against the spring 20. The cross section of the gas pipe line 21 is formed flat, and one end of the gas pipe line 21 is directly opened into the combustion chamber 4 while the other end is connected to the feed cylinder 7.
