PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device increasing a load capacity with simple structure to suppress abrasion of a foil bearing, and to provide a centrifugal compressor having the same. SOLUTION: The bearing device 1 comprises: a rotor 10 having a flange part 11a; the foil bearing 30a opposed to the rotor 10 in a radial direction R and supporting the rotor 10 in the radial direction R; and a magnetic bearing 40a opposed to the flange part 11a in an axial direction A and supporting the rotor 10 in the axial direction A. A space part D is formed between the rotor 10 and the foil bearing 30a by the rotation of the rotor 10. The flange part 11a is provided with a blowing part 14 pressure-feeding gas to the space part D by the rotation of the rotor 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
