The invention relates to a fastening assembly for a bumper (30) on a body of an automobile. Said fastening assembly comprises at least one bumper-mounted fastening element (42) which cooperates with a corresponding body-mounted fastening element (14) that is arranged in the area of a transverse element (radiator bridge 10). The body-mounted fastening element is designed as a fastening rail (14) which is fixedly positioned on the transverse element (radiator bridge 10).
