The lining (3) has a transparent surface layer (3.1) with scattering bodies (3.2) and hollow bodies (3.3) for scattering and reflecting light. The surface layer is made of a material, whose expansion is defined by supply of heat to the surface layer in such a manner that a distance between the scattering bodies and/or the hollow bodies and/or volumes of the hollow bodies varies, when the surface layer is heated. A reflection layer (3.4) is arranged at a lower side of the surface layer and reflects the light, where the lower side is turned away from an interior of a vehicle.
