A system and a method for indicating information about a standby group telephone in order to grasp the situation of the group telephone are provided to recognize information about a standby state of the group telephone by outputting information about the standby state of the group telephone. A group telephone administration module(102) performs a proper processing when the standby group phone is hung up. A group member administration module(104) manages the members of the group which the electronic key telephone system. The group member administration module especially distinguishes the members of the relative group with group number. The number and status information of each member are stored. A queue management module(106) includes queue for each group. The queue management module stores and deletes caller information of the group telephone according to the request of the group telephone administration module The number of standby telephones is stored by group. |
