A lightweight coping of a bridge is provided to add steel on the bottom of a coping section to receive compressive force by removing the remaining part except a girder support and introducing a hollow to a web of a coping section, and to maintain the load carrying capacity of a coping section and to make lightweight by arranging a steel wire on the top of a coping section. A lightweight coping of a bridge, where is installed to the top of a pier of a bridge and fitted with many girders, comprises a vertical wall(31) buried with a steel wire on the upper part and a steel shape member buried under the lower part in the longitudinal direction, and a support(32) formed on the lower part of the vertical wall and fitted with one part of the girders, wherein the support is composed of many girder supports(32a,32b,32c) with the remaining part removed except the part where the girders are placed. |
