PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw with a thin head and a small nominal diameter, which prevents a screw-in function from being deteriorated. SOLUTION: The screw 1 has a head 2 including an engaging groove 5 engaged with a driver pit, and a leg portion 4 formed with a thread 3. The screw 1 has a thin head 2 and also has a taper-like reinforcing portion 10, which is larger on a side of the head 2 and smaller on a side of the ridges 3, between a seat surface 7 of the head 2 and the thread 3 of the leg portion 4, which provides a screw for used in relatively thin products without deteriorating its function. Further, the leg portion 4 is reinforced, thereby causing a screw-in force to be reliably transmitted to the leg portion 4 when a screw 1 with a small nominal diameter is screwed-in, which prevents the head 2 from being broken. |
