PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installation area of a substation, by providing a switching means between the secondary side of a transformer and each rectifier, and performing selection and switching the secondary side of the transformer over to either a normal system or preparatory system rectifier. SOLUTION: A transformer 3A and two rectifiers 4a, 4b are formed integrally and put on a common frame 12, and a switching device 11A which switches the secondary side of the transformer 3A over to one of individual rectifiers 4A, 4B to make switching over to an operating circuit or a preparatory circuit, is provided. And when the rectifier 4a constituting an operating circuit is switched over to the rectifier 4b constituting a preparatory circuit, a circuit- breaker 8A and a disconnector 9a under operation are made, and the switching device 11A is connected to a contact 11b side, and a preparatory circuit composed of the transformer 3A and the rectifier 4b is obtained. Consequently, it becomes possible to reduce the installation area of a substation, and besides to shorten a period required for its installation. |
