Specifically disclosed is a method for producing a heat transfer member (10), which comprises at least a step wherein a metal powder in a solid state is sprayed onto the surface of a base (11) together with a compressed gas, thereby forming a coating film (12) of the metal powder on the surface of the base (11). In this film-forming step, the spray pressure of the metal powder onto the surface of the base (11) is set so that the coating film (12) has a porous structure.
