A backlight unit including the surface light source, and a light emitting diode are provided to produce uniform white light by arranging appropriately a red, a green, and a blue light emitting diodes. Basically a red LED, and a blue LED of a first light emitting diode group are arranged under one green light emitting diode. The second light emitting diode group(210) is arranged in order to be turned upside down with the first light emitting diode group. The first light emitting diode group based on the green light emitting diode between the red light-emitting diode and blue light emitting diodes comprises a triangle pattern. A second light emitting diode group forms reverse triangle pattern based on green LED which is converted with the first LED group.
