A manufacturing method of a reinforcing rod having an anchorage adhered thereto is provided to manufacture a reinforcing rod to which an anchorage having high strength and toughness is adhered by using a steel bar containing C and Mn at specific ratios as the reinforcing rod. In a manufacturing method of a reinforcing rod having an anchorage adhered thereto comprises the process of integrally forming an expanded diameter part that becomes the anchorage by performing a hot upsetting operation of heating an end area(10A) of the reinforcing rod(10), compressing the heated corresponding end area in the axial line direction, and plastic deforming the compressed end area of the reinforcing rod to increase outer diameter of the end area of the reinforcing rod, the manufacturing method is characterized in that: the end area of the reinforcing rod is heated such that temperature of the end area of the reinforcing rod is continuously or gradually increased as it get close to an end face of the reinforcing rod, a part of the reinforcing rod spaced from the end face of the reinforcing rod as long as 2.0 D(wherein, D is an outer diameter of the reinforcing rod) in the axial line direction has a temperature of 1300 deg.C or less which is less than a melting point of the concerned reinforcing rod, and a part of the reinforcing rod spaced from the end face of the reinforcing rod as long as 5.0 D in the axial line direction has a temperature range of not less than Ac3 transformation point of the concerned reinforcing rod to not more than 1200 deg.C.
