PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive steering feeling setting device capable of setting desired steering feeling. SOLUTION: The automotive steering feeling setting device comprises a steering force characteristic control means (a second control unit 24) to control the steering force characteristic, a vehicular responsive characteristic control means (a third control unit 28) to control the vehicular responsive characteristic, and a steering feeling setting means to set desired steering feeling. The steering feeling setting means controls the steering force control means and/or the vehicular responsive characteristic control means so that the ratio of the increase in the vehicular response to the increase in the steering force in an on-center area before the predetermined steering force is achieved from the start of turning a steering wheel constantly irrespective of the change in vehicle speed when a driver turns the steering wheel in a straight-running condition at a speed not lower than a predetermined value, and a ratio of the increase in the vehicular response to the increase in the steering force in an off-center area with the steering force not less than a predetermined value are within a predetermined ratio range.
