A device for controlling emergency guide lamp is provided to extend lifetime of LED by minimizing heat generated in LED which is used as light source of emergency guide lamp. A device for controlling emergency guide lamp includes a light source control device(170). The light source control device controls a light source(140) with PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) switching operation, steadily controls a current supplied in the light source, and comprises a control part(171), a PWM part(172), a switching part(173), and a current detection part(174). The control part controls on/off operation of the light source. The PWM part generates a square wave pulse according to a control signal of the control part. The switching part is comprised of a semiconductor switching device, and repeats switching on/off by the square wave pulse supplied from the PWM part. The current detection part detects a current supplied in the light source according to the on/off operation of the switching part. |
