A push type locking device of a glove box is provided to maintain the locking device to the reset state although a user does not press a pushbutton continuously. A push type locking device of a glove box comprises: a housing(30) in which a locking hole(31) is formed; a door(40) hinge-connected to the housing to open or close the housing; a pushbutton(41) exposed to an outer peripheral surface of the door; a rod part(50) embedded in the door and pressurized by the pushbutton such that the rod part is locked in the locking hole or released from the locking hole while moving side to side; and a locking maintenance part(60) temporarily stopping the rod part moved by the pushbutton.
