PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive steering feeling setting device capable of setting desired steering feeling. SOLUTION: The automotive steering feeling setting device comprises a steering force characteristic control means (a second control unit 24) to control the steering force characteristic, a vehicular responsive characteristic control means (a third control unit 28) to control the vehicular responsive characteristic, and a steering feeling setting means to set desired steering feeling. The steering feeling setting means controls the steering force control means and/or the vehicular responsive characteristic control means so that the steering angle is returned by a predetermined value from the maximum steering angle in returning the steering wheel when a driver turns the steering wheel from a straight-running condition at a speed not lower than the predetermined vehicle speed and returns the steering wheel thereafter, and when the steering force is reduced by the predetermined steering force value constantly irrespective of the change in vehicle speed.
