An electrofusion fitting 10 has a clamping arrangement to hold the pipe or spigot during fusion. The clamping arrangement includes four fingers 52 which engage with a grip ring 50 via camming formations to clamp the pipe. The fingers may have a rib 54 to prevent removal of the grip ring, and the camming surfaces may also have a detent to indicate when the grip ring is fully engaged. |
