Ceiling type air conditioner

A ceiling type air conditioner comprises a body 10, a fan 11 installed in the body 10 and a heat exchanger 13 installed around the fan 11 inside the body 10. A partition panel 30 divides an inner space of the body 10 into a suction 10a and discharge 10b region and has an opening 31 for the passage of the fan 11 upon assembling or disassembling the fan 11 in the body 10. A bell mouth member 40 detachably couples to the opening 31 of the panel 30 to guide air into the fan 11. A condensate water sump 14 may be installed below the heat exchanger 13 and the panel 30 may have a rim coupled with the water sump 14. A control box 50 may be installed at a lower surface of the panel 30 so as not to interfere with the bell mouth member 40. A plurality of couplings may be provided to couple the bell mouth member 40 to the panel 30. The couplings may comprise of hooks 35 in the panel 30 that engage recesses 45 in the bell mouth member 40 or vice versa. At least one screw 37 may fix the bell mouth member 40 to the panel 30 to prevent disengagement of the hooks and recesses.
