PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in a cooperative operation system which can select a camera for photographing an object and a camera for actually recording photographed image data to a memory card. SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with: a connection means to other digital cameras; a photographing instruction means for instructing photographing; a photographing camera setting means for setting a camera to be a photographing camera for photographing the still picture of the object; a recording camera setting means for setting a camera to be a recording camera for recording still picture data of the object to a long time storage medium; and an output means for outputting the setting results to the other cameras.
