A parking device for the continuously variable transmission is provided to improve the operation force delivery lineage structure of the select lever. A parking gear(110) is fixed on the rotation axis and the coaxial of the second pulley. A parking pole(120) is geared with the rotation axis of the parking gear into the vertical direction. A return spring(130) elastically supports the parking pole. A cam member(140) is equipped in the linear driving location of the backend of the parking pole and is rotatable. A manual shaft(150) is rotated by the manipulation of the select lever. A detent member(160) is elastically supported in order to convert the torque of the manual shaft into the movement of the rotation axis direction of the second pulley. A load(170) rotates the cam member.
