PROCESS FOR ISOLATION PHENOLS FROM LIGNOCELLULOSES FAST-PYROLYSIS OILS

The present invention relates to the industrial organic synthesis, particularly to the process of production of phenols and products derived from phenols, and diversification of raw material basis for this industry. According the present invention there are used fast-pyrolysis oils from lignocellulosic materials for producing miscellaneous phenols. For isolation of phenols there are used organic solvents with excellent phenol-solvating ability, law boiling temperature and low solubility in water. Process includes admixing oils with the organic solvent and further extractions of mixtures: organic-solvent/water and water/organic-solvent. Range of organic-solvents being used up to now conforms to demanded requirements only partly, in order to that there is offered to use methyl-tert-butyl-ether, which till now was looked on as inapplicable for that purposes. As it turned out in practice the use of methyl-tert-butyl-ether provides obtaining pure mixture of phenols with increased yield, with decreased deficiency of organic solvents and smaller energy-expenditure for regeneration of solvents. The offered new method is simple and economic.
