A plasma display panel and an alignment method are provided to align location exactly by gathering addition for a plurality of align mark parts for discharge electrodes and align mark parts for a partition, arranged within a plurality of substrates, in the same location. A plasma display panel comprises a plurality of substrates, a plurality of pair of sustain discharge electrodes, an address electrode(112), a partition and a fluorescent material layer. The substrate has a first substrate and a second substrate arranged to be faced with the first substrate. The pair of sustain discharge electrodes is arranged in the inner surface of the first substrate. The pair of sustain discharge electrodes have a transparent electrode and a bus electrode line(107) electrically connected with the transparent electrode(106). The address electrode is arranged to the direction intersecting with the pair of sustain discharge electrodes. The partition is arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate and partitions off the discharge space. The fluorescent material layer is coated onto the discharge space. In the inner surface of the first substrate, a first align mark part is formed in order to arrange the location of the bus electrode line about the transparent electrode. In the inner surface of the second substrate, a second align mark part is formed in order to arrange the location of partition about the address electrode. The first align mark part(301) comprises a align mark part(303) for the transparent electrode and the align mark part(302) for a bus electrode line. The second align mark part(401) comprises the align mark part(403) for the address electrode and the align mark part(402) for the partition.
