A golf club head (12) having a defined internal cavity (28) containing a bi- material (70) weight having a nonhomogeneous structure is disclosed herein. A method to add the bi-material (70) weight t o the golf club (12) is also disclosed as part of the present invention. The method includes heating, vibration and cooling to produce the nonhomogeneous structure of the weight within the internal cavity (28). The bi-material weight is preferably compos ed of a bismuth solder (60) and a plurality of tungsten spheres (54).
