<p>PURPOSE: A device checking the number of grip slabs for a tong crane is provided to prevent accidents of equipment caused by malfunctions for selecting the number of the slabs and restrict a next operation from being delayed by delaying the supply of the slabs by easily checking the number of the slab to be gripped with operators' eyes to the position of a supporting block installed to the tong crane in gripping the slabs with the crane. CONSTITUTION: A device checking the number of grip slabs for a tong crane is composed of a rotary shaft connected with a driving shaft(13) for moving up and down a supporting block(20) by a belt(15) to interlock with the driving shaft and formed with a worm gear(32) in the center; a cam plate(42) formed to the side of a worm wheel engaged with the worm gear and supported by a supporting shaft; a lift member mounted with a lift roll contacting to the cam plate at the lower end and elastically installed in a housing by a spring; and a checking unit(60) disposed to the upper end of the housing to check the movements of the lift member with operators' eyes.</p> |
