A river water overflow prevention device installed to a river bank is provided to improve durability to the maximum by absorbing shock while an overflow prevention unit is ascent, and to have the effect of turf on a slope on the lower part of a bank at ordinary times. A river water overflow prevention device installed to a river bank comprises an elastic rubber body(1) fixed to a front wall(20) of a bank(10), a lower fixing plate projected to the lower front of the elastic rubber body and fixed to the ground, and an overflow prevention unit(3) provided to the upper part of the lower fixing plate to change an angle to be inclined downward along the ground, wherein the elastic rubber body includes a fixed projection plate fixed to the bank, a projection provided with a front arc surface(121) to have the wide top and the narrow bottom and a lower groove fitted with the lower fixing plate, and the overflow prevention unit comprises an arc-shaped plate(31), at least one or more intermediate plate(32), a front plate(33) and a buoyancy body(35). |
