A water-treatment apparatus for removing sediment and suspended solid is provided to remove easily suspended materials in the sewage and to be maintained easily according to accumulation of dirt and sand of backend conduit line of a settling basin and to secure safety against flooding. A water-treatment apparatus for removing sediment and suspended solid comprise a sewage duct(10), a soil separate unit(12) and a settling basin(13). The sewage duct contains a flow channel of a circular shape in order to generate a centrifugal force by flow of the sewage. The soil separate unit is formed to exterior wall of the sewage duct and divides soil included in the sewage by centrifugal force. The settling basin is positioned at one side of the sewage duct, and precipitates the soil and separates the suspended materials.
