An adhesive is provided to adhere with an optical film like polarizer to a liquid crystal cell with excellent durability, and to prevent the obtained liquid crystal display from being leaked even under the high temperature high humidity environment. An adhesive is obtained by irradiating the adhesive materials containing (A) an acrylic copolymer having an average molecular weight of 1,000,000, which is obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition containing a hydroxyl group-containing monomer 0.01~5 weight% and a carboxyl group-containing monomer 0.01-2.0 weight%, (B) an acrylic copolymer having an average molecular weight of 1,000,000, which is obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition containing a hydroxyl group-containing monomer 0.01 weight% or less and a carboxyl group-containing monomer 0.01-15.0 weight%, and (C) an active energy rays-curable compound. |
