A vibration damping apparatus of the seat for a car is provided to control the vibration energy of the low frequency and high frequency band efficiently since the linear magnetorheological fluid damper, rotary magnetorheological fluid damper, and rack and pinion tool are applied. A vibration damping apparatus of the seat for a car comprises a spring(8) positioned between the central part of sheet(2) and a base(1), a pair of rack gears(7) which is installed between the sheet and base, a magnetorheological fluid damper(5) placed in the center of the rack gear, a pinion gear(6) which is toothed with a pair of rack gears. The rotary magnetorheological fluid damper absorbs the vibration energy of the high oscillation frequency through the spring. The rotary magnetorheological fluid damper operates with the spring and absorbs the vibration energy of the low oscillation frequency. |
