A portable terminal having a camera is provided to form a camera for video communication and a camera for photographing a picture or moving picture in one assembly type. A camera assembly(50) comprises a camera housing(54), the first camera(60) and the second camera(62). The camera housing is mounted in a camera accommodating part(52) formed inside a terminal body. The first camera is mounted on the camera housing, and is arranged toward the front of the terminal body. The second camera is mounted on the camera housing, and is arranged toward the rear side of the terminal body. The rear sides of the first and second cameras are mutually attached to be integrated into one body. The first camera lens(64) is mounted on the front side of the first camera. The second camera lens(66) is mounted on the front side of the second camera.
