摘要 A method for driving a surface emitting semiconductor laser, an optical transmission module, and a handheld electronic device are provided to perform the driving operation by using the negative gradient domain of the internal resistance. An optical transmission module(10) comprises an optical transmitting device(20), and an optical transmission media(30) and an optical receiving device(40). The optical transmitting device converts the electric signal into the optical signal. The optical transmitting device comprises a VCSEL(50) and a driver circuit(60). The VCSEL irradiates the laser light of the wavelength according to the transmission range of the optical signal. The optical transmission media is comprised of the optical fiber or the optical guide. The optical receiving device converts the transmitted optical signal into the electric signal. The optical receiving device comprises a photo diode(70) and an amplifier(80). The photo diode converts the optical signal into the electric signal. An amplifier amplifies the transformed electric signal.
