The device has a master cylinder (1) mounted on a brake assistance servomotor (2). The master cylinder has a cylindrical part (10) placed inside a cylindrical opening (25) of the servomotor. The part has a peripheral surface having grooves, and the servomotor has a cylindrical opening with a peripheral wall (21) engaged forcibly against the cavities, where the cavities are presented in form of circular grooves. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a brake device.
