METHOD FOR SELECTING ITEMS AND TERMINAL THEREFOR

An item selection method and a terminal therefor are provided to enable a user to easily select various icons displayed on a touch screen although he/she does not carry a stylus pen. The user of a terminal touches at an arbitrary location on a touch screen with a finger(S310). A cursor is formed in a preset position of the touch screen regardless of the touched location(S320). The terminal user moves a touch according to a predetermined track as maintaining the touch(S330). The cursor is moved as forming the same track as that of the touch(S340). If the cursor is located on a target music item, the terminal user lifts the touch on the touch screen(S350,S360). And then, the target music item is selected and reproduced(S370).
